Bank Holiday Family Fun Day at Epsom Downs Racecourse!

We are really lucky to live in the middle of three of the finest racecourses in the country and this Bank Holiday weekend there is a Family Fun Day at Epsom Racecourse.

This Bank Holiday join us for a fun packed afternoon watching eight horse races as well as a variety of entertainments including encounters with crocodiles, a climbing wall (Charlie's got his eyes on that already!), a zip wire, Derby hoppers, bouncy castles, face painting and much much more!

Following the success of previous years this years theme is Superheroes and there will be awards for the Best Dressed Family!

There are two parts to this fun packed day!

1. The Trainers Open Morning...

Every wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes at the training yards, getting up close and personal with the stars of the track, their trainers and the stable staff.

The day kicks off at 8:30am with your chance to see the horses on the gallops, then from 9:30am the race yards will be open for you to see them in their home environment and chat to the trainers and staff who look after these wonderful creatures.

2. Bank Holiday Family Fun Day...

Gates open at 11:30am with the first horse race at 2pm. All entertainment on the day is FREE OF CHARGE and will be open from the gates opening. There will also be eight incredible horse races including Pertemps Champions Willberry Charity Derby. The last race of the day will be 5:50pm.

This really is a full fun packed family day out and perfect for Bank Holiday Monday!
