Living Arrows 15/53

I have been a follower Donna over at What The Redhead said for a while now and have watched her adventures with her and her children and they are also a fellow Surrey family!

Every Monday she takes part in Living Arrows. I haven't joined in with Living Arrows before but to give you a bit of background it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday I will be joining in with two of my favourite photos from the previous week.

This weeks Living Arrows is set in Cornwall where we have been holidaying since last Thursday. If you will know if you've followed me before Cornwall is my happy place. I long to own a holiday home here one day to be able to visit as and when I wish.

The first photo was taken as the sun started to set on our first weekend in Rock. It features my boys, Charlie and Hector and my niece Lily-Anne.

Rock, Cornwall - April 6th 2018

I love how the photo shows the difference in height in the kids. Lily-Anne is twelve weeks younger than Hector but it's amazing to see how much she's grown and how quickly she's catching up with him in height.

Ice creams in Padstow - April 8th 2018

Second photo (above) is of Charlie in Padstow. This was after he'd demolished a sausage roll and we finished off lunch with proper Cornish ice creams from one of the beautiful ice cream shops in the harbour. He opted for clotted cream vanilla and a flake.
