There is no secret - I LOVE The Ivy Cobham Brasserie - it's my go to place for dinner with the girls, date night with Webbo and special birthday dinners for my family - this weekend is no exception as we will be celebrating my Dad's birthday there this weekend!

Now there is one thing that The Ivy do really well and that's celebrating an occasion - remember their baubles at Christmas and the giant Easter Bunny? Well, For one week only, The Ivy Cobham Brasserie will be transformed into a Haunted House for both adults and children to enjoy this Halloween. Complete with cobwebs, skulls, spiders, roses and more, the entire restaurant’s interior and exterior will be fully adorned in ghoulish attire from Wednesday, 24 October to Thursday, 1 November. Ghostly figures will hang upstairs, whilst a large black cauldron will bubble away in the centre of the restaurant, spilling over with smoke and roses; all creating a spooky setting like no other in the heart of Cobham.

For foodie lovers, The Ivy Cobham Brasserie will be serving up a special “Halloweek” menu. Priced at £40 per person for three courses, guests will be invited to choose from a series of playful, limited-edition dishes including Grave-lax & blood orange (cured salmon with a bloody orange dressing), roasted pumpkin (whole mini pumpkin with Freekah, tofu, coriander and red pepper sauce), steak through the heart (seared rare tuna steak, crispy artichoke heart, black garlic sauce, pomegranate and smoked aubergine) and a tantalising “chocolate skull” dessert (salted caramel chocolate pudding, golden popping candy and honeycomb, served alongside vanilla ice cream).

For adults, there will be a seasonal cocktail to help raise spirits this Halloween. Created by the restaurant’s bar team, the devilishly good Spiced Apple Martini (£8.75) will combine Calvados with cinnamon syrup and apple juice. A non-alcoholic children’s “Mini Pumpkin” mocktail will also be available, featuring grenadine, orange juice and lemonade.

My favourite restaurant manager, Richard Roper, General Manager at The Ivy Cobham Brasserie, says: “We are very excited to be celebrating Halloween for the first time this year. We’ll be offering a dedicated menu for both adults and children to enjoy and we can’t wait to see our guests’ reactions when they arrive at the restaurant. We’ll be encouraging diners to dress up and fully immerse themselves in the Halloween spirit, with trick or treating and spooky characters performing outside the restaurant from 4.30pm to 8.30pm on the night of Halloween itself.”

The Ivy Cobham Brasserie’s ghostly goings-on, including its limited edition set menu and cocktails, will be available to enjoy for one-week-only, from Wednesday, 24 October to Wednesday, 31 October inclusively. The restaurant’s Halloween set menu will be available daily from 4pm. The restaurant will also be running a social media competition, inviting guests and passers by to take a photo for instagram outside the restaurant’s spooky exterior throughout the week. The guest who posts the best photo will win a meal for four worth up to £400. Entrants will need to follow @ivycobhambrass, tag the restaurant and include #IvyHalloweek within their post in order to be entered into the competition!

I LOVE this and can't wait to visit over Half Term!
